Resume Objectives for Career Changes
When you decide to make a career change after years in one field, a resume objective may help to indicate to a future employer how you believe your specific experience may translate to a different type of position. When writing an objective in a situation like this, make note of your skills, then indicate that you'd like to use those skills to help you succeed in the new position.
Example #1
Objective: Experienced accountant seeking to move into marketing position, where I can use my experience in operations and budgeting to contribute to the company's success.

Example #3
